An Army of Blur
A selection of some of my favorite experiments from the New Model Army show last month. I love the lighting at Radio Radio… its moody technicolor really suits the “pretty blurry” style I am developing.
Blood Red Sky
As we were driving home from Chicago on Friday night, I noticed the sky starting to turn a fiery red… sure you may say it’s the pollution from Gary and surrounding industrial towns. But I prefer the idea that mother nature was saying happy birthday to me.
Green Is The Sea
I finally was able to edit down my selection of “blurry photos” from the trip to the Shedd Aquarium. There’s so darn many though!! The way the fish move and the water and glass reflect light… it was a pretty blurry DREAM! My apologies to Zlaya who had to put up with my lagging behind to take photo after photo, but I think even he would say it was worth it! Check em out!

These are my most recent photos from our trip to Chicago to see Foreigner for my bday. We were a little late leaving, and thus Zlaya was driving a bit faster than normal to get to the city. As evidenced by some of the photos I took on the ride up. This time I tried some new forced aperture settings on my camera, and think I got some really incredible looking stuff. But don’t let me be the judge, tell me what you think!
Getting to Apoptygma
This series of images were taken on a recent road trip to Chicago to see Apoptygma play at the Double Door. The concert was fun, but the best images of the night were of the sights along the way.

These are from an event Zlaya DJ’d in Cincinnati. I liked how the club lights lent themselves to all kinds of neat effects.
Drive-By Art
A set from the passenger seat of Z’s new car (on the way to Cincinnati). I accidentally took a photo while messing with my camera and when I saw how the signs looked, I had to keep experimenting!
